Freelance Opportunities
We are often looking to expand our portfolio of freelance staff members in the following areas:
Warehouse
The following roles are based at our headquarters in Aldenham near Watford, there are limited public transport options, and would be more suitable for those that can drive.
Decoration Preparation
This role involves assembly of our decorations to the specified design, testing and refurbishing existing decorations and equipment.
Warehouse Operations
Assisting the operations team with the storage, moving, loading and unloading of our equipment, stock, and large decorations.
Electrical Preparation
Electrical/Technical-Preparing and testing the electrical elements of our decorations & equipment. Knowledge of LED Tape/Neon, Low Voltage Lighting, Christmas Lighting, Event Lighting.
Installation Teams
Installation Teams Working on site, right across the UK. Accommodation and travel is provided where required.
Installer-MEWP Operator
Installing decorations across a wide variety of sites, including shopping centres, town/city centres, corporate and mixed use sites. IPAF 3a, 3b as a standard but preferably 1b in addition.
Installer-Ground Crew
Preparing decorations on the ground, loading and unloading of vehicles, installing decorations at ground level, keeping the site clean and tidy, checking in and out tools and equipment.
Installer-Street works Operative/Supervisor
Setting up relevant traffic control measures, including signage, cones, safe working zones. Must hold the relevant Street works card (Minimum signalling, lighting and guarding) The supervisor role would be involved in the creations and updating of the traffic management plan in advance of the works, as well as supervising on site.
Electrician
Working with our installation team installing the electrical infrastructure required for our decorations, maintenance/testing of existing equipment. HERS registered would be an advantage.
Dresser
Working with our teams on site to decorate both real and artificial Christmas trees, Garlands and Wreaths to a high standard according to the specified design brief and colour scheme. We install all sizes of trees so some work at height may be required.
